Dinesh Arora’s leadership lies at the heart of Qavalli’s distinctive identity. Inspired by childhood Thursday evenings spent at sacred Qawwali gatherings in Old Delhi alongside his father, he learned early on that true hospitality is deeply spiritual an art of making guests feel part of something timeless. These formative experiences shaped his belief that transcendence is born not from excess, but from authenticity and a deep reverence for heritage.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s cinematic vision later helped crystallize these dormant memories into architectural reality. His masterful blend of Mughal grandeur and Moroccan subtlety where every frame evokes emotion through color, scale, and detail became the visual language through which Qavalli’s soul could take form. For Dinesh, honoring tradition while remaining cosmopolitan meant creating a space where cultures converse rather than exist in isolation.
